URBAN FOX
Edition 8, March 2020
Welcome to the March edition of the Urban Fox, our monthly love letter to south London.
Locals Chris Mullany and Kevin Quinn have been at the helm of London’s last paid-for independent local paper, the Southwark News, since 2002. The Fox is their latest creation.
In this issue, Cara Cummings loses herself in Lordship Lane’s literary hub, Chener Books, with owner Miranda Peake. We visit Brixton Pound’s new surplus canteen that’s feeding the masses in Loughborough Junction, and we tune into the next generation of music-lovers with the Lambeth Sounds Music Festival.
As always, we go out on the town with Brixton Buzz’s Mike Urban, into the garden with Jackie Power, and into the deep recesses of our minds with life coach Carrie Brooks.
Follow the Fox as we bring you all the latest stories and goings on around town.

The Iceman Cometh
In our August issue, we go behind the scenes of the UK’s No. 1 gelato-maker’s Dulwich laboratory. We also delve into the zero waste revolution stirring up Herne Hill and Nunhead, and talk to the parents quashing baby brain with their TED talk-style events in East Dulwich.
